Not really the look that you might want when you find a peacock feather in your yard. 3 feathers were found after two peacocks spent time on my patio several days last week. I noticed these feathers today and thought I try to photograph how bad they looked. The green peacock likes to spread his tail, but it was sparse last week when I saw him.

It isn't. @wakelys It is doing that and I was tickled I could capture them. @mccarth1 I don't see them them all the time so looked this up. Apparently the long tail feathers aren't useful after mating season and they begin to shed them. @craftymeg Very sparse.
