Last sewing related photo for awhile. Unpacked the box, checked everything, enclosed, read the manual and off. I went for an afternoon of mending. Seven towels in all. Thanks for your perseverance and understanding.

Thank you my cheerleaders. I ended these towels because they are still thick and absorbent. For some reason they all started to fray on the selvage edges and several had the hem stitching come loose. Why buy new ones. And I did use my new machine and it worked well.
Congratulations on immediately putting your new machine to work! I totally agree in principle to the "mend rather than buy new" philosophy. But I don't mend (REALLY, REALLY don't sew) and also don't buy new (except for the ones for the newly redone bathroom back when that was done). I just use the towels into rags. Why mend when you can let them fall apart? 🤣
