Jet trails lit up

The sky has been full of jet trails this afternoon. These were highlighted by the rays of the setting sun.

I'm having deja vu! LOL! We passed through VA this afternoon. I don't think we saw any clouds, just tons of jet trails. I took several pictures as we sat on I-81 stuck in traffic because of a 5+ car fender bender, but my windshield was so dirty, they didn't turn out very well.

Interesting shot Kathy,i often wonder with the amount of flights each day and the amount of fuel burnt we never hear the term pollution directed at aircraft,just at industry ,cars& power stations
