This is a shot of the lawn on the house we purchased to remodel. The house is our neighbors. They are meticulous (you can see their lawn over the top of the puffs) and probably are "fit to be tied" as they say around here. DH has it on his list of things to do to mow the grass today.
Oh, I bet they will be happy to see those nasty dandelions gone and happy to have you there fixing up this home. Good news for the neighborhood - nice capture!
Oh wow! I hope this place doesn't require as much as ours did. We ended up gutting the bathroom and replacing all the flooring because of water and mold damage!
@susanalena They will be. I think they might wonder about us as neighbors since we've let the place grow up a little until we could get a contractor and all that. Thanks for viewing and commenting Susan. @peterlgrave We're remodeling to live in it. Adding a master bath and closet, and changing out the flooring throughout. A few other "minor" adjustments, too. We have a riding lawn mower and my husband totes it back and forth between the 2 houses. Trouble is we had 3 days straight rain last week. It was a shock when we rode by the other evening and saw it. @barbtatum Well, I don't like the house to start with, but it was 1/3 mine when my mother died. I bought out my brothers and now we're going to turn it into something I like. It will be expensive, but not because there's any damage (at least I don't think). If we were to update the house we live in now, we would run into similar problems as you did. @homeschoolmom We have that too. More at the other house than this. @pyrrhula & @confectioner Thank you.
