Ivy Trail

I thought the old Bell & Howell 35-70mm lens from my old Nikkormat camera was destined to just gather dust. But remembering FBailey telling me some of her lenses only work on a digital camera in manual mode, so I tried mine. It works! This is an experiment as I can set the aperture but cannot see how to set the shutter speed. It seems the camera does that automatically. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Oh I understand now. This is really rather lovely, the colourful leaves against the dark background and the contrasting diagonals.
