Wood Grain

Finally began to tackle the hallway decorating I have neglected for two years and was struck by the patterns in the grain of the dado rail.

This is quite deceptive, I initially thought it was shadows:)

does that mean that you will not be covering them up in paint? I too thought it was shadows to start with. Wood grain can be very relaxing to sit and look at.
