I tend to take a lot of photos on and around the beach since that’s my favorite spot but this morning, I ventured out to capture some sunflowers I’d spotted dying on the vine in a neighbor’s yard as a sort of a metaphor for the end of the season. That was what I planned to post today. Don’t ask how it ended up this way--- just happened to get an IPhone shot of the afternoon sunset overlooking the pier down in Oceanside and well, to me, it trumped the droopy flower, not so much for sharpness, but what a glorious end to the day!
