Here's my entry for the Favorite Nature Photos Collage. For the past four years, I've been growing tulips from bulbs in pots on the front porch and back patio. I select them at the grower's in WA state every summer, wait for them to arrive in December and plant them immediately. Because we have a temperate climate, they bloom here in late January, early February whereas the tulips up in Washington don't bloom until April. Mine might last another week so I'm loving every minute and am happy to share them with anyone who stops by to take a look!
Love this collage! The colors are so amazingly beautiful! Interesting that you plant them immediately in December.... I kept mine in the refrigerator for about 6 weeks like they instructed at the nursery for our climate. However, you have gorgeous tulips, and I don't, so next time I am not listening to them!!! Frankly, I never had much luck with tulips in southern California....yours look gorgeous!
Great shot.
