Painted Lady by redy4et

Painted Lady

She is definitely over the top! This is one of the life-size hand painted mannequins on display at an Orange County art gallery. Fashion mannequins of paper- mache were made in France in the mid-19th century, modeled after dress forms used by dressmakers. Today, they are used primarily as store displays or window decorations as well as for online product display.

The funny thing is what I like most about it is the fact that the crystal chandelier has become her very elaborate and blingie hairdo!! Very well positioned!
