The Ranch, established in 1940, sits at the base of Mt Kuchima, just over the border near San Diego. Things are so spread out that we average about 7 miles a day of walking, just to get to the dining room, pool, gyms, and lectures. That doesn't include the 6 or more exercise classes we do every day. You could say we burn a lot of calories during our stay!
