This is the view from the stern of the water taxi that ferried us and our bicycles to Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach where we enjoyed a delicious lunch on the outdoor patio of a favorite restaurant. In the background you can see the RMS Queen Mary, retired ocean liner that is permanently berthed here. The ship traveled from Southhampton to New York City for almost 30 years, before being retired in 1967. It's listed in the National Register of Historic Places. A cruise ship, headed for Mexico, can be seen in the distance as well.
This shot is SOOC! Yes! The sky really did look that blue today. It was amazing.
Gorgeous day! Yes, at first viewing I thought this was at the Del also, and I was going to give you a hard time for not letting me know you were going to be in town!
