I've been cooling my heels every night this week on the beach seeking refuge from the 90- degree temps along the coast. It's always fascinating to me how the sea birds and gulls gather on the shore, or in this case, perch on top of the lifeguard station, as if they too are watching the sunset. Two birds sat up there for the longest time; then one flew off and the other turned its head as if to say "Where you flying off to in such a hurry?"
