Seeing the large cats was definitely the highlight of my African adventure, the cheetahs being my definite favorites. This young male was sound asleep when we first arrived on the scene. Then he woke up, calmly made eye contact and changed his position several times before sprinting off into the thick underbrush.
Oh, he looks so, so sleepy like he is still in dreamland! A definite FAV, and yes, cheetahs are also my favorite big cats! Love their markings, their grace, and agility. In fact, I just want to burrow my face in that furry tummy, and scratch him behind the ears....:-)))
