Tonight was incredibly beautiful down at the beach. It's February and yet it was about 80 degrees and not much breeze at dusk which is unusual, even for temperate Southern California. Surfers had gathered in closer to the pier, hoping their boards would catch a final ride as the sky colors intensified and the city lights began to glow.
