Hey, Venus! Oh, Venus!

Tonight I came out of Home Depot with the doorknob I had purchased to see the crescent moon and Venus framed by palm trees above the parking lot. Ran to the car to grab my camera, took two shots and headed home. Not bad for handheld. Looks best viewed large on black.

Very impressive! Viewed large, I can even see the hint of the full moon in shadow. Great sky shot!
