Waiting to board the car ferry in Anacortes, Washington, I caught sight of the newest addition to the fleet. The Samish ( on the right) is a brand new boat which will ferry passengers and cars from the mainland to the San Juan Islands and Victoria, BC. Half the fun of our trips to these beautiful islands is riding the ferries that travel back and forth across Puget Sound many times each day. I'm woefully behind in posting and commenting so I'll try to catch up the next few days.
I love that place!! I wish I could just get back to the San Juan islands this summer....it is so beautiful up there, especially in the summertime when rain is at at minimum!
