The kids down the block had just set up their lemonade stand on the corner as I drove by so I had to stop for a cold one. It was one of those Norman Rockwell moments. Kids doing what kids have been doing for decades on a hot summer day. I think my little brother and I used a TV tray on the front lawn to do the same thing. Only lemonade then was 5 cents, now it's $1!
This is so cool!! I just love how you processed it!! Frankly, before I read your description I thought this must have been another childhood photo that you found amongst your mother's belongings, and I was trying to figure out which one of the kids was you!!
