Pilgrimage to MyatheinTan Pagoda

This impressive white pagoda is in Mingun, Myanmar, northwest of Mandalay. The architecture is quite unusual. Seven terraces with undulating rails represent the seven mountain ranges around the mythical mountain of Meru, all guarded by mythical monsters.
