The Guanacauste region of Costa Rica is known for it's picturesque beaches and great surfing. This morning we walked about 20 minutes down the beach from our hotel to a beach club where they rent surfboards and offer lessons. I actually owned a yellow surfboard when I was in high school. It was so heavy, that it took my girlfriend and I both to carry it down to the water. As I recall, we got in more suntanning than actual surfing!
Ha! What a delight! Now, forever, I'll picture you as a most appropriate "Gidget", back in the day! FYI, I'm attaching your holiday photos to our zoo outing! I want everyone to see why you weren't able to be there with us!
