The tree in my front yard is in full bloom-never have figured out exactly what type of tree it is-similar to a magnolia I think. It only blooms for a few weeks each Spring so I'm celebrating its lovely flowers! (The rest of the year I curse it for littering the sidewalk and parked cars with heaps of leaves and sticky sap.)
happy Easter Elizabeth...thanks for including Purim..i googled it and learnt something new... :o)...at first glance i thought this was a rhododendron flower...some varieties can grow into quite large trees...no fragrance and sometimes the stalk of the flower is sticky to the touch...i think...lovely image
