One of many picturesque villas overlooking the Mediterranean in Gaeta, south of Rome. I really loved the white stucco architecture, the lush gardens and the many striped awnings that screen the hot sun as well as adding a decorative accent to the windows of the homes and public buildings throughout Southern Italy.
