@redy4et Summer 1981. We were living in Salt Lake City at the time - we met when we were both on faculty at University of Utah. We drove to SF, then up the coast to the Columbia River Gorge, camped there, then on to the islands with our bikes, and that back down through Idaho and Montana. An amazing trip!
