Another view of Emerald Bay from Eagle Falls. The abundant water from this year's Spring snow melt was cascading over the rocks at a ferocious pace. During dry winters, this waterfall can be a mere trickle by summer but this year, it's likely to be running strong through August.
It was nice to get so much rain and snow this year! If you had seen Lake Tahoe in the Fall of 2015, it looked like a moonscape, with no water along any of the docks! I was so depressed when I saw that...but now it is back to full capacity again!
