We got really close to this huge oil tanker in the harbor during an afternoon sail last Sunday. This week there have been petroleum odors wafting through the air in our neighborhood, which is several blocks from the water. The newspaper reported the"smell" is coming from some of these big ships out in the harbor. I like seeing them but not smelling them.
