I just returned home from a Memorial Day observance, complete with color guards from all branches of military service, bagpipers, music, flyovers by the Coast Guard and keynote speakers. The highlight for me was the 21st Century Skydiving Team who floated down from the sky flying flags from their heels and landing right in the middle of the festivities. I felt honored to be there to pay tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives to keep us free.
