A predawn visit to El Tatio Geyser Field in the Andes of Northern Chile. This is the largest set of geysers in South America and third in the world. Although not as impressive as Yelowstone, the elevation at 14,170 feet above sea level and the temperature (-11 degrees celsius) made the whole scene quite unforgettable.
