The car ferry from Anacortes Washington docked briefly at Lopez Island to let a few cars off before heading to our favorite destination on Orcas Island for a week of hiking and camping. Orcas is the largest of the San Juan Islands on Puget Sound, between mainland Washington and Vancouver Island, Canada. I have a new Lumix camera that I used for the first time on this trip. So far I like the zoom lens and the convenience of it's compact size. It has lots of bells and whistles that I need to explore.
