We had a great time spotting Orcas on a whale watching trip near Saturna Island in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. There were so many other boats surrounding the whales that it was difficult to get a clear shot. I wished I had been in the little inflatable you can see on the right. It's actually too close -boats are supposed to stay at least 100 yards away. But it's difficult to predict where the whales will surface. I guess it was their lucky day.
