During the airshow last week, the Coast Guard did a simulation of a rescue at sea. The helicopter crew lowered a cable and pulled the man from the ocean, bringing him up inside to safety. Hundreds of boaters were anchored off shore to watch the jets and planes perform. Most of the rest of us were sitting on the sandy beach for the spectacle.
