Who knew that a world-wide pandemic would spark my interest in observing and photographing birds? I've always enjoyed watching the hummers at the patio fountain and I did add a seed feeder several months ago. But now that I have an enormous amount of time and no place to go, I've discovered a bird sanctuary smack in the middle of suburbia that I never knew was there. It's close to home, a great place to walk with few people on the path and it has more than 186 species of migratory birds. So far, I've seen herons, egrets, ducks and now doves. Only 182 to go.
