Sonoran Pond by redy4et

Sonoran Pond

This natural pond was recently dredged to get rid of invasive plants that threatened the habitat. Its waters can now support more than 500 desert pupfish that were rescued and relocated to the pond. I didn't see any fish but was awed by the surrounding trees and vegetation.
A lovely serene image

How nice to get dredged for that reason, wish we would do that to a few lakes around here! Beautiful spot and a lovely image

Lovely pond... sounds like a lot of work went into prepping for the rescued fish. Nice!
