I was watching this cormorant at the edge of the lake just after sunset when all of a sudden another shadow was reflected in the water close to where the cormorant stood. If you look closely you'll see a white egret. The egret approached within a foot of the larger bird, who turned to look as the egret passed by and kept on going. Best viewed on black.
