This lovely purple flowering plant is about the only one still blooming in my garden in the heat of Summer. Visits from the hummingbirds and finches are less frequent now so there's been little opportunity to observe or photograph them. I have had a hard time motivating myself to pick up the camera lately. Summer doldrums.
