Giraffes with their 6-foot long legs and equally long necks, are the tallest of all land creatures. They are peculiar, graceful and intriguing creatures. I've spent a number of enjoyable mornings watching them feed at the Living Desert Reserve.
Quite amazing to see them so close, and to establish distance with the foreground trees. By the way, I submitted the California pier photo to a photo exhibition a couple of months ago and it was accepted and just yesterday, the exhibition opened.
