Inspired by another 365er's haircut shot, I took my camera and snapped my barber giving me a haircut this a.m. After that, I stopped in my favorite camera store and asked about macro lenses. Blah, blah, blah — I wondered out loud if the close up set my father-in-law bought for his N80 would fit my T2i. Michael said they might be 58mm threads, so I checked tonight and — ta da! The filters Dad bought fit the T2i! The image is a heart-shaped music box that doesn't look this colorful until the on-board flash was thrown at it.
Thank you, Dad! Yet again!

@oneinodd I did, Lisa! Indeed, I have always been the favorite son-in-law … but then I married an only daughter. ;) Dad was an engineer & I'm an applied mathematician so we understood each other's fussiness; we had overlapping interests in music; and he definitely nurtured my interest in photography. I didn't get anything I liked, but I was climbing over & around fallen trees and across a brook this morning. Dad practiced that pursuit of a unique photo, too.
