I’m an economics professor (a “dismal scientist,” ’tis true), married 33+ years to the love of my life and we have two lovely grown daughters. I jumped into this project at the suggestion of our older daughter and I managed to post a photo-a-day without “filler” for two years (736 posts). It’s Year Three, but by missing a day, the “Haven’t-missed-a-day-for” counter had to be restarted. Sigh.

I had a Kodak Instamatic but more serious photography began in 1978 with my first 35mm camera, a Canon “Canonet.” After that came a Pentax SuperProgram, the Nikon N80 that belonged to my late father-in-law and now a Canon T2i. Dad was such an inspiration! He braved the digital waters before I did and he would have such fun with the current equipment!
