“Lines ’n’ Things”

It was a beautiful day today — 71°F according to my widget — so today’s post *has* to be an outdoor shot, even though I took some half-way cool shots indoors. (I can — literally — save those ideas for a rainy day!) This table set was at the northwest entrance to Lindegren Hall on campus. Walking by it, I was struck by all the sharp lines of the porch railing and table and bench supports and their shadows, as well as the shadow pattern made by the table and bench surfaces.
very interesting angle here. love it when ordinary things look cool like this.

This "porch" is on an elevation, so it was easy to get below table-and-bench level to look slightly "up". You put it very well as I, too, like it when ordinary things look cool! I'm hopeful that this project will make me more aware and to see those things in the everyday!

The shadows from the table are great - good eye Thom!
