No “tip-toeing” necessary!

Many opening and partially-opened flowers remind me of one of my favorite sculptures: Rodin’s “The Secret,” which we saw on our first trip to Paris…

This tulip is in a garden that the homeowner has created out of the strip of yard between the sidewalk in front of her house and the street. In this case, it’s one of our newly elected City Council members. Congrats, Jane; we voted for you!

@tori3012 Thank you! That’s why I was a bit disinclined to post it. I thought it was too much, too much “in-your-face”!

@cohare Thank you, Christine! Christmas colors. :) How much longer before your latitude reaches this point?
@harley84 @exposure4u Thank you, Katherine & Wendy!
@sitiodown Thanks, Tari. It's quite fetching coming upon this garden driving down their street!
@digitalrn I hadn't considered this, Rick, but I do see some softness. Thank you!

@rhoing Thom, I think the lighting on the flower, and the green background helps to soften it.
