Clothesline Project by rhoing

Clothesline Project

It was only a 3-frame day. Today was the day the Clothesline Project was on display on campus.

Started in 1990 in Massachusetts, the Clothesline Project is a program to address the issue of violence against women. It is a vehicle for women affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a t-shirt. The shirt is hung on a clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to the problem of violence against women. There is a color system. Visit https://www.theclotheslineproject.org/

Fantastic project for such a worthy cause. Studying psychology we look into the issues of domestic violence. A harsh reality is that men actually receive more abuse than women encounter. I love the idea of the project. Fantastic photo Thom Favd
