The house that built me…

… into the geek I am today. This is the house that was home from 3rd grade until moving out, diseased birch tree and all.
looks nice - your parents still live there? Which street? Did you visit recently?

@sitiodown My parents moved many, many years ago and my mom passed away more than 20 years ago. Lyons St., off Crooks, between 12 and Webster. Have been here for a few days; heading home bright-and-early tomorrow.

@sitiodown When I was in grad school in Rhode Island, there was an inexpensive Italian restaurant where our parents would take us when they'd visit. There was a scallops dish Clare & I really liked. She has managed to recreate it and after she made it for me for Father's Day, I mentioned it to my dad. He remembered it and so we offered to make it for him at his place. :)

@michelleyoung Thanks so much, Michelle!

@digitalrn Safely home now (580 miles yesterday). Thanks, Rick: I still have small vestiges of the cold, but feeling pretty good again.
