Today we took Jenny & Steve to the DuQuoin State Fair. It was a beautiful day: possibly the mildest day we've ever had to go to the fair. With all the colors, rides and cheesiness of a state fair, we watched some harness races, kids "showing" their cows, a horse trainer presentation, and had corn dogs and split a red velvet funnel cake (four ways). Yes, *red velvet* funnel cake; it was great.
As we were leaving, we walked by some of the farm equipment on display. This probably wasn't the largest or most expensive piece on display, but it's probably priced at more than we paid for our house.
