New lake. New views. by rhoing

New lake. New views.

Prompted by a question from Roland, with whom I went to sculling camp in Vermont last month, Alan advised that Cedar Lake has a 5-mile stretch of rowable water and is quite pretty with its prominent bluffs. So today I checked out Cedar Lake. Launching is a bit more difficult than at Little Grassy, but once on the water, Cedar is a beautiful lake, especially for the prominent bluffs on the east side of the lake within a half-hour of sunset.
Amazing reflections.. this is such a stunnign shot

@michelleyoung Thanks, Michelle. It was an amazing lake to discover after living in the area for 28 years! I hope to go back to this one today.

@digitalrn Thank you, Rick. I have to admit that I didn't get the full workout I might have intended because I kept pausing to capture images!
@sparkleplenty1 Thank you so much, Joyce! We are very fortunate indeed to be surrounded by such beauty. I suppose it's a compensation from being 2 hours from a big city and airport.
