Today we journeyed to Boston to spend Thanksgiving with our daughters. Jenny has this cool mirror and I couldn’t help but notice the framed photos on a shelf across the room when walking by the mirror.
My first attempt with the flash illuminated the mirror “rays” and the wall behind the mirror, but left the opposite wall—and the photos on the shelf—underexposed. Speed-Lite to the rescue! Clare bought me the fancy one last winter and I pivoted the head to shoot the flash behind me and this is the result: now the mirror is dark and the main subjects are more correctly exposed.
