Today was a crazy hectic day and this burst of color found in a tree on campus late in the day was a rare "bright" spot. Too dark on a rainy day at this time of day, so I had to provide light with flash. In a magnified view, I liked the red at the bottom of the water drop.

@kdei Thanks, Kim! I remember thinking last winter how winter dragged on. Carrying a camera around all winter, I became quite aware of how long the "gray" dragged on, so this burst of color was a pleasant surprise after a long, dreary day!
@jessielouise Thank you, JessieLou'! It was raining when I took this and I had to pull the flash out of my bag. That's how stunning this colour was for me: I paused in the rain to attach the flash and capture the image!
@michelleyoung Thank you again, Shells! :)
