Liquid assets by rhoing

Liquid assets

This is a shot I’d like to have back…
I was waiting outside my classroom between classes and the soda machine was being liberated of its *negotiable* liquid assets. Uh, as opposed to its “illiquid liquid assets.” (Remember, I’m an economist!) I don’t know that I’ve ever seen the inside of such a machine. Kind of interesting.

I’d like to have this shot back because this is cropped down to 1200x800 (landscape) from the image’s original size of 3456x5184 (portrait), i.e., this is “actual size.” Now that I know this, I would have stood closer and zoomed in. I also played with the color saturation of the greens (+33%) to get those Squirt® and Mountain Dew® colors to look realistic.

Any guesses as to the bottle capacity of this beast? (Then multiply by $1.50 for the cash-equivalent!)

@janets Thank you, Janet!

@snipsnap Uh, through cropping. Severe cropping. As I wrote, I'd really like to "have this one back." But alas, live and learn!

Thom - so you don't lose a photos again, just make a duplicate of the photo and use only one of them for processing. Don't know what you're using for a computer, but on a Mac, you can always go back to the original photo. Love the emphasis on the green bottles!

Cool shot, and I would guess in monetary value, it makes a good living

Can't believing I'm fav'ing a shot of a soda machine, but this is terrific! Love the patterns on the bottles and the colors of the soda.

@chauncygirl Thanks for a fav, Heidi! Actually, as much as seeing inside a piece of "everyday technology," it was the star pattern on the bottoms of the bottles and the green colors that attracted my attention in the first place. Then it became the gold and silver vertical lines and then I wished I could have the shot "back"!
