Today was the 9½ hour drive from Carbondale to our home town of Royal Oak. I drove two hours, then Clare drove 7½ hours while I graded the graduate students’ “math-econ” exams.
We had dinner at Clare’s mom’s with her and then went for a walk. We went to the Christmas light extravaganza at Washington & 12 Mile Road. It’s pretty hard to capture the entire feeling, so here is merely an artsy shot of some light rope around a tree.
