Home + heavy sigh [Travel day]

Today we drove home from Michigan. We got up about 6:30 and had an uneventful 570+ mile (917+ km) drive. As happens to everyone, we came home to a pile of mail, a pile of newspapers, bags to unpack … and I totally forgot to take a photo today. Hence the “heavy sigh”. So a streak ends and must start anew tomorrow (when this photo was actually taken).

With that out of the way, this is our back yard garden — my butterfly and bug magnet! — taken from our 2nd floor (1st floor to our cousins across The Pond, right?) bathroom window.

Wow, what a drive, something I dislike. Our snbow is all gone now, and this weekend it is supposed to go up to around 50. Will not complain for January.
