Grace

Younger daughter attended a high school classmate-and-college roommate’s wedding in Chicago on Saturday. She took the train home Sunday (Father’s Day!) to spend a few days with us. Today she and I went rowing … she for the first time ever! We rowed the Alden — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-06-16 — together for 20 minutes or so and then I got out and let her go out by herself. She did very well. :) (I only got a few shots of her rowing solo, but they were from too far away.) We hope to get out again tomorrow with her taking a turn in the single Maas — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-09-23

We hustled home to shower and then met Raymond & Jeanne for dinner at the Brick House Grill in Anna — http://annabrickhousegrill.com/ — where this was taken. Beer, wonderful entree and bread pudding with bourbon sauce: yum!
