A 5-frame day

This week is finals week — my last? — and our departure to Vermont on Thursday for our weekend as “parents-of-the-bride”… So today’s photos were (1) this one from in front of our house, (2) a shot of its leaves (for Dan Nickrent to identify) and (3,4,5) three of the cat. Exactly! Really imaginative, Thom… On the plus side, we want to find out what this plant is. Quite low to the ground, so I expect it’s used most frequently as “ground cover.”

Edit: It's a species of Iberis (Candytuft) in the mustard family, Brassicaceae.
Same family as the "Money plant" ("Lunaria annua"), http://phytoimages.siu.edu/cgi-bin/dol/dol_terminal.pl?taxon_name=Lunaria_annua&rank=binomial

Good luck with the finals, and good luck and blessing on the wedding
