Getting BILLY home by rhoing

Getting BILLY home

Since bringing home all the books from my campus office that I want to keep, it is obvious that we need more shelf space at home. So today we took our every-summer trip to the IKEA store in Canton, MI.

Two BILLY bookcases will help a lot, but they are almost 80" tall, so the boxes are 80+ inches long. With tape measure I went out to our vehicle and the boxes will fit, but this is the necessary configuration in Clare's Escape: front seat reclined all the way back and the middle seat folded down. The passenger will have to sit behind the driver when we drive home next Monday!

*NOTE*
Today I returned my non-working EFS 60mm macro lens. (Auto-focus does not work.)
A deposit of $50 was required. At least this will count toward the repair bill.

VERY *NOT* HAPPY about this…

Good idea. Mom is moving in, so probably a trip to IKEA is in my future.
